Colorado Outfitters has its ties to New England Moose hunting, with Roger Lambert, Russ Lambert's father being a Moose Outfitter and one of the top moose callers in the nation, well before Colorado has had a moose season, that experience gives Colorado Outfitters a significant leg up on Moose Hunting in Colorado compared to other outfitters. Couple that experience with some of the best Moose units in the state, you'll get some of the best moose hunting in the western states.

Moose hunts are available in both Routt County's Zirkel Wilderness area and Summit County's Eagle's Nest Wilderness area in GMU's 14 and 371. These hunts are a 1 on 1 hunt (1 guide to 1 hunter and actually we generally send a couple of guides and also a cameraman to film the experience).  It is a full 5 day hunt and if we don’t kill the bull you want within 5 days, additional days of hunting can be purchased. We are here to make sure this is the hunt of a lifetime and will do everything in our power to get you a chance at the moose of your dream!
